Shaved Ice Island is an Austin-original company that serves gourmet shaved ice recipes as well as classic time-tested flavors that everybody loves. They have a giant trailer in south Austin at Westgate Lanes bowling alley, and Lady Bird Lake (next to Town Lake Holiday Inn). Try creative, fun flavors such as the Notorious P.O.G. (a passion fruit orange guava juice shaved ice) and Creamy Cold Brew (made with Austin’s Chameleon Cold Brew coffee). They also do delicious Hispanic-style shaved ice such as Mangonada, Cucumber Lime, and Mexican Rice Pudding (Arroz con Leche).
