Preserving Precious Memories for Mother's Day and Beyond - Greater Austin Moms

As a mom of 4 kids in the digital age I understand the vast number of photos and videos we collect in what seems like the blink of an eye. Though they are many, they are no less precious to us and we need a way to store and preserve those memories for years to come.

When I first heard about Doorstep Digital I reached out to them the same day because I already had several projects in mind. Then I learned that they do so much more than photo archiving, including deduplication of photos (can I get a “hallelujah!”?), photo restoration, home private cloud setup and custom album design to name a few. Best of all, they bring a team to your home, scan and organize onsite, hence the name “Doorstep Digital”, so you don’t have to leave your home or carry heavy boxes of hardware or photos.

Jack Perry, owner and founder of Doorstep Digital, is a professional photographer and videographer and one of the most genuine people I have ever met. His passion for helping others preserve their memories is fueled by loss. A house fire in 2011 consumed his family’s home and home office, but thankfully, Jack was able to recover priceless family photos because he had backed them up! This led to the birth of Doorstep Digital, helping families  “Save Yesterday for Tomorrow,” as their slogan goes.

I’m so excited to unveil the first project they did for me, preserving my Grandma’s letters both digitally and in a custom album.

With Mother’s Day coming up May 10th, it is the perfect time to invite Doorstep Digital into your home to make a custom album for the special moms in your life. Or request an album for yourself!
