Artists have experimented with metal as a material of choice for thousands of years. If you take a stroll around Laguna Gloria today, you’ll see many great examples illustrating why metal continues to be a favorite for artists creating art for outdoor installations. This month we will be experimenting with an ancient process called repoussé. Join us as we learn to use special metal-working tools to push, scratch, and sculpt sheets of metal into new forms inspired by our newest metal sculpture, Swan Motherby Clare Rojas.
